It all started when…
Jay Garcia opened the store in 1995 in Saint Lucie West, Florida, while his daughter, Jessica, and his nephew Brian continue the legacy.
Jay had a vision of building and owning his own store and with the trust and loyalty of our many customers, Jay was able to realize his dream.
He is now able to design, repair and showcase classic and designer jewelry along with expanding his diamond and bridal selection.
The business has grown and expanded over the years and today has three master jewelers, a certified Rolex technician, and highly qualified sales associates on-site.
OUR STORY
Jay Garcia has always had a vision of designing and repairing jewelry. In 1990, Master Jeweler Jay relocated his family and his business from New York to Port St. Lucie West 27 years ago. Jay Garcia opened his store in 1995, where he is now able to design, repair, and showcase classic and designer jewelry along with expanding his diamond and bridal selection. Jay’s Fine Jewelry is a two- generation, family owned and operated business that has grown and expanded over the years. We specialize in custom designs and offer a full-service repair department, a certified Rolex technician, and a highly qualified sales associates staff who pride themselves on customer service.
Our Bridal department offers the latest looks from elegant classics to designer lines, Jay’s own signature line and many more. We now offer Lab Grown Diamonds to our wide selection of diamond inventory, in a variety of shapes from round, to pear to princess cut at prices to fit every budget. Jay is an Accredited Jewelry Professional by the Gemological Institute Of America, with an education in diamonds and gemology that allows him to offer certified jewelry insurance and estate appraisals. Garcia is often asked by new customers, “Are you Jay?” and they are immediately pleased to learn that they are dealing directly with the man whose name is on the front door. In addition, his daughter, Jessica, is an integral part of the business, working side by side with her dad and assisting customers. Also working alongside Jay is his nephew, Brian Garcia. Brian is a Master Jeweler and designer who specializes in custom designs as well as intricate repairs with over 18 years of experience. He is also an Accredited Jewelry Professional Certified by Gemological Institute Of America.
Jay, Jessica, & Brian along with trained sales staff offer their knowledge and expertise to customers looking for a special item, or refurbishing a family heirloom to pass to the next generation. Nothing pleases the family more than meeting and working with a second generation customer who was referred by his or her parent. When it comes to custom designs, Jay and Brian are involved in every step of the process, from conception to the finished product. They start with a rough drawn picture, then create a CAD image, and finally cast the piece and set any stones, careful to ensure the highest customer satisfaction. Jay recently had to bride-to-be bring in her mother’s band after she had passed away. The woman requested a custom design using the stones from her mother’s ring, saying it would make her feel like her mom would be with her on her wedding day. Being apart of heartfelt stories such as this is just one of the many reasons why everyone at Jay’s Fine Jewelry is driven to bring their best work with them every single day. The goal of everyone at Jay’s is to continue to offer the best in customer service while making sure all customers old and new will see their ideas brought to life to be worn again and again and passed down to future generations. Because many customers are involved with local philanthropic efforts for schools, churches and nonprofit organizations, Jay’s Fine Jewelry regularly donates gift certifications to benefit the community
